The campsite at Dewslake farm is the perfect rest spot for cyclists and walkers alike.
The site boasts a kitchen with electric hob, hot showers, safe storage for your bikes and a quiet atmosphere to make sure you have a restful stay before continuing on with your journey. Touring cyclists are spoilt for choice with the Sustrans Celtic Trail west or National Cycle Network (NCN) 4 and 47. The campsite is located on the national cycle route 4 which stretches for 432 miles from Greenwich, London all the way to Fishguard, North Pembrokeshire. See the route Disused railway lines such as The Tramway near Saundersfoot and The Brunel trial between Pembroke and Haverfordwest include traffic free sections, making it perfect for families and young riders wanting to explore Pembrokeshire on two wheels.
Pembrokeshire also hosts the annual Ironman Wales event and the Long Course Wales weekend event. Renowned for being one of the toughest challenges in the world, the course includes a swim (2.4 miles), a bike ride (112 miles) and finally a run (26.2 miles)! Don’t worry if you decide not to compete, the cycling course takes place right outside our front gates.
