Achy Breaky Hearts Winter BBQ
Shake off Valentine’s clichés and join us in the barn at Dewslake Farm for a winter night of serious food, live music, dancing, and proper warmth.
This is a no-frills, feel-good evening built around smoke, fire, and sound — the perfect antidote to the bleak midwinter.
Music & dancing
Come dance the night away with Big Steve Young and his Boogie Woogie Good Time Band. With Steve on the piano, the band will be firing out boogie woogie in the style of Pinetop Perkins and Albert Ammons, alongside good old rock ’n’ roll and rhythm & blues to keep the barn bouncing.
If you fancy learning a few extra moves (or just loosening up), the Pembrokeshire Lindy Hoppers will be on hand with a demo and taster session to get you moving before the dance floor fills.
Food – by Smoking Axes
- Garlic & dill hot-smoked salmon
- Pork belly burnt ends with cherry bomb BBQ sauce
- Served with sides

The event takes place in the barn for warmth — the furnace will be lit, but it is winter, so layers are advised.

Timings
Doors open: 7:00pm
Food served: approx. 7:30pm. Please arrive on time so food is served hot and as intended.
Tickets: £25 per person (includes food). Advance booking essential.
Music only and children’s tickets also available.
